Aumix is for changing the settings on your hardware mixer. It works
with the OSS API. It has X11 and ncurses GUIs, but can also be
used from scripts.
what's new in this version:
- the "mute" script is always installed (Christian Weisgerber)
- a manual page was added for the "mute" script (Bas Zoetekouw)
- the xaumix(1) man page follows standards better
- the GTK+ record/play indicators have distinct shapes, so they
can be differentiated by color-blind users or on a monochrome
display
- the record/play indicators can be hidden
- the GTK "Load from" and "Save to" dialog windows close after
the user makes a selection (Thierry Vignaud)
- non-ASCII text displays correctly with GTK+ 2.x (G\xf6tz Waschk,
Roland Stigge and Thierry Vignaud)
- Catalan translation (Ernest Adrogu\xe9)
- Italian translation (Cristian Rigamonti)
- support for the Linux device filesystem (Pixel of Mandrakesoft)
