About Gibson, it is quite sure that OMS will be killed.
So probably thinking of an open solution is safe.

I don't know about the OMS API specs, and there may be
problems here (like API license or NDA), but I'll ask
here if anyone has it. May be the API was public, after
all it is a kind of system library.
