A new GIMP of audio project seems to have started: GLAME (GNU/Linux
Audio Mechanics). Their web site is at http://glame.sourceforge.net ...
I just wonder, how many bigger projects no nothing about LAD...?
IMHO it'd important to get all "key people" here. :)

Hello, 

I'm inviting you all to join LAD, the Linux audio development list. 
Go to http://www.bright.net/~dlphilp/lad.html if interested. The 
list already has quite a long member list (developers from various 
audio projects inluding ALSA, kernel-dev people, Csound, Quasimodo
and other PBD projects, aRts, snd, libaudiofile, libsndfile, oolaboola, 
SoundTracker, ecasound, etc. etc.), but new people are always welcome. 

We're especially interested in developing a common plugin (and 
audio communication in general) architecture for Linux sound apps 
(project is called MuCoS at the moment). For this to succeed, we need 
as many projects behind it as possible.
