If I remember correctly, there was a bug in RedHat 6.0 (and Mandrake's
similar version) with this card. Did you get an error message saying
something like "effect unknown"?
If so then you will want to download and install the latest RPM's for
sndconfig and sox.
Another warning for you is that this card tends to support standard
sample rates by + or - 1. For instances, if you ask to use 44100 the
card will report using 44101. Not a big deal but it tends to confuse
some software.
