btw2: i think the ending "thank you for your benign dictatorship" is
somewhat awkward, but then, i'm not a native speaker. for me, the
word "dictator" has a connotation not to be thanked for, and while i
would use "benign d.-ship" as an abstract description of a political
situation, i think it's not suited as a personal greeting. your
choice, however.
