Hello,

I am coauthor of a linux-djing program, gdam,

        http://gdam.org/

It is a client-server dj-ing program with about a dozen
filters, multiple mp3-playing, a sequencer, a buffer editor,
semi-automated beat matching.

Please check it out!

We could use:
        - user-interface suggestions
        - suggestions for new effects
        - suggestions for input devices
                [we already support midi,
                 and a few other weird inputs: second pc keyboard,
                 physics-lab sonic range finders]
        - suggestions in general
        - more developers...

It is quite far along, and written in the gnome-style...
