Richard promised to start versioning his LADSPA releases. We won't
guarantee compatibility between versions, but we can still start working
on plugin and host implementations. Open-source environment makes it
easier to work with a development API. When we release the first stable
version, we already have lots of working example code (hosts and plugins).
