I quickly listed a few plug-in candidates. We could a start organizing
the plug-ins to meaningful groups (menues in apps). There sure are Csound
opcodes but I felt I could still list my candidates.
-mix of multiple signals -- and by the way, the mixing is done by summing
not by averaging; wrong: y = (x1+x2+x3)/3, correct: y = x1+x2+x3
-vector based panning (mono-to-stereo, -quad)
Frequency filters:
-parametric
-Moorer's presence and shelve filters
-Chamberlin's state variable filter (two of them makes a digital
equivalent of Moog filter; used in Kurzweil)
-Stilson's and Smith's Moog filter (more better Moog filter)
-graphical
-Moorer's linear-phase bandsplitter
Delays:
-fixed length delay line
-unit-splitting delay (delay is less than 1 sample)
-fixed length delay with unit-splitting delay
-length-modulated delay line
Reverbs:
-Schroeder/Moorer reverb
-Gardner's nested all-pass unit reverbs (small, medium, large)
-Dattorro reverb
-Rocchesso reverb
-Blesser reverb (U.S. patent 4,181,820, Apr 1978/Jan 1980)
-Stautner's and Puckette's FDN
Oscillators:
-Stilson's and Smith's bandlimited square, triangle and sawtooth
Most of them are not trivially implemented...
Juhana
