To be precise, I never said that Steinberg don't deserve to run on
Linux. I said that I felt Steinberg doesn't deserve to be able to use
code that I wrote in their closed-source applications.

Linus attitude has been "they can do whatever they want, as long as
they are ready for kernel changes at any time". He has not offered up
any code for such companies to use in their applications. I'm fine
with that attitude, and I would welcome some commercial apps here. But
asking me/us to write code for them ? No thanks, I'll pass.
