Appologies, sorry it was me being stupid. The only thing I can say in
my defense is that I was really ill when I tried it.
I have now found that applyplugin ignores the hints though! I think I'm
going to assume (and hint for) a range of +-32768 and cross my virtual
fingers. It might not crash, but it does sound *really* horrid.

PS It helps to remove the foo.HintDescriptor = 0 bit. *cough*
