1) alsaplayer has JACK support
2) the jack code comes with jackrec, which records N-bit, N-channel
WAV files from any set of JACK ports
3) i have ported rythmnlab to use JACK.
I am still waiting for the right mood to strike me to port Ardour. I
believe that all the pieces are in place now for this to work.
