CHANGES

      * the sample engine application now accepts cmd-line arguments
           to specify the ALSA PCM device name, the sample rate,
           and the frames-per-interrupt value. The default values
           are "default", 48kHz and 64 respectively.

      * minor removals of printf() statements
      * minor bug fixes
