Hello,

jazz++ has this idea to filter which event types you see, so you have to
turn on seeing the control events.

there is also a ascii midi event view, so you can see in greater detail
what happens.

i was thinking of improving the controller view in jazz in the piano
roll. as it is now, you just get to see when the controll occurs, and it
tries to use colors to tell the user a little about the data of the
controllers. but i still think its not intuitive enough. i was thinking
of having icons, or somthing, for different controllers, and have them
show the values in a more meaningful way.

if anybody has any experience of other sequencers doing something nice
in this area, it would be interesting to know.
