Subject: [linux-audio-dev] Chipsets with hardware mixers

Is there as list of sound chipsets that support hardware mixing. I
understand that ALSA supports multi-open on hardware devices that
support hardware mixing. But I don't seem to be able to find a list
of what chipsets support this feature.
I have a embedded system that currently uses arts to handle mixing
via software but arts is way heavy and complex for what I need so I
am wanting to see how much more it will cost for chipset that
supports it directly.
