I've been trying to keep up with the discussions
happening here lately, but it's so hard.
You know, all this computerized audio stuff is just
so freaking complicated. No wonder so many musicians
are going back to using more traditional gear.
Top 10 Reasons to Replace LAD with Tin Cans and String:
10) Modern technology in aluminum cans and synthetic
fibers offer better fidelity than ever before.
9) Doesn't require a computer or electricity. No
significant microwave or RF emissions. No fan noise.
8) Users can see each other.
7) In emergency, easier to revert to pre-existing
technology (air).
6) Simple, user-serviceable parts. API consists of
common household tools.
5) No documentation? No problem!
4) Computer skills not required. Bleeding edge
technical difficulties can be fixed with Band Aid(tm).
3) GPL or LGPL? For what???
2) Supports misunderstandings between a
maximum of only two people at once.
And the Number One reason:
1) Logos already supplied on cans.
Cheers, and have a nice day!
