I think that you are misreading my statement.

No it does not mean that a pluggin cannot have N variable inputs - it is a
direct response to your question rather than a sensible wording :)

Abramo, I think that you are assuming that you are suggesting new ideas.
This, in many cases, is not the true. The goal is not to rehash old
discussions when there is really nothing new to discuss. I am certain
that everyone here welcomes your input, but it is polite to be aware of
past discussions and decisions. It often feels like you are not.
