Smurf Sound Font Editor has a virtual keyboard. It can be played with
the mouse or computer keyboard. If you are using ALSA you can connect it
to any other ALSA sequencer device with aconnect. I'm sure there are
other programs that do this to, and probably better, as the virtual
keyboard in Smurf is kind of compact because its used for defining key
ranges for Sound Fonts as well.
