Hello,

Having changed my soundcard (from Trident 4D Wave NX to ens1371)
while the trident driver is broken, I am now achieving good
low latency results on my AMD Athlon, with a kernel compiled
for Athlon. I moved to the latest kernel, 2.4.16, with Andrew
Morton's low latency patch, but when I activate low latency
(echo 1 > /proc/sys/kernel/lowlatency), after a while my system
starts slowing down (notable the mouse movement gets very sluggish)
and finally freezes. I did not experience these problems with
kernel 2.5.15-pre5

Any suggestions?
