Can you tell me where I can get Tango24 for $600? I looked and only found
$650+ prices?

Thanks!

In message <NFBBLDDHMLCDDEOIFJOAMEIECFAA.ico_AT_fuse.net>you write:

They are supported. You need to use use alsactl to set a control that
defines ADAT1 as coming being the "internal" conector. Thats it.

No different to using the regular ADAT connector and an external converter.

You'll probably have to drill your case to mount them. Despite RME's
claims, I doubt they are as well shielded as an external
converter. You also can't control their configuration (sample rate,
sync source, etc) as easily (if at all) compared to a dedicated
converted box. Finally, you don't easily mountable jacks as a
converter box would represent, which might be a problem for a studio -
you'd being out more to bring those line in/out's up to a patch bay
(though to be fair, that would be true for most converters too, since
the connectors are on the back. Finally, if you ever decide to use
another audio interface, your converters are now worthless.

BTW, the Tango24, which I use, is more like US$600. I like it.
