are you talking about the Received: headers on the way to
linux-audio-dev_AT_music.columbia.edu ?
afaik, majordomo has no way to retain those.

point taken. but i see no way to improve this without changing the
list software, and this decision is with douglas. (he has indicated
that he might do it in the near future...)

personally, i think the level of spam on lad is nothing to worry
about yet. if it's getting worse, we might consider closing the list
to subscribers-only, but we have quite a few cross-posted threads
from the alsa and jackit lists, and those would be rejected.
