Hi, Phil:

Yes, thanks to my host Guenter Geiger I met with Xavier Serra and some
of his students. UPF is one of the AGNULA partners, and their
contribution is largely focused on the CLAM (C++ Library for Audio and
Music) project. The latest Musings on the soundapps site
(http://linux-sound.org/muse.html) says a bit about what I saw and heard
there. Guenter can tell you more...

Other AGNULA partners include KTH in Stockholm, IRCAM in Paris, Centro
Tempo Reale in Firenzi, Red Hat France, and the FSF Europe. Each partner
is contributing software and/or other expertise needed by the project.
An alpha release of the project distribution is planned for November of
this year.

Sorry for the brief response, I'm trying to build Rosegarden, test
Doug Scott's version of Rt, build Snd with LessTif, test the latest
Ardour, write a new book, learn Swahili, and rebuild my carburetor...
before going to work today... ;)

Best regards,
