Legasynth 0.4.1 is out.
Legasynth is a mature app, and it's ready for professional/studio
usage. It also features
a frinedly userinterface for managing all presets you create, and even
drum banks.
LegaSynth:
----------
LegaSynth is an old chip/synthethizer emulator. It currently uses the
ALSA sequencer API (it's midi-controlled), but could easily be
expanded to use others as well.
LegaSynth supports OSS/JACK wave output drivers.
Current engines proovide very precise emulation of:
-Yamaha DX7 FM
-MOS6581 Sound Interface Device (or best known as the good old C64 SID
:)
-Yamaha YMH2K (Soundchip very popular in small Yamaha
keyboards/Arcades and the Sega GENESIS)
-TB303 - Still needs some work, but it's perfectly usable.
New in this version:
August 17 - '02:
Legasynth 0.4.1 is out!
-Added a TB303 machine, using some portions from GSYNTH.
-Fixed SID filters, SID emulation rocks now, give it a try!
-Added controllers per machine
-Misc BugFixes/CrashFixes (thanks node/Bob Ham for the help!)
