It is not fair, a lot of people actually liked your project and also
commented that we should not say bad things behind your back. What
happened to "customary thanks" to people who tried to encourage you?.
You should also realize that the license issue is not that simple issue.
And also you are pulling the app off your site because a company
that might not have a case threatened you. The whole thing might seem
fishy to some people.
If you chose to publish your work, you should be prepared for all
criticism. If you truly think you are right then you probably are and
other people will join you sooner or later.
