Let me expand a little on this...
When windows 3.0 was released, microsoft was sued by apple because the
windows user-interface was a clone of apple's user-interface.
The courts decided, however, that "you can't copyright a
user-interface", and that microsoft was free to distribute windows
without paying any loyalties to apple.
Thus, there is a legal precedent saying that it's ok for programs to
copy the UI's of other programs. Unless Reborn actually
photoshopped/gimped the rebirth pixmaps, PropellerHeads can't do or say
anything.
Not to mention the fact that there have been soft-synth UI's modeled
after 303's and 909's since *LONG* before propellerheads did anything.
