But for beginning i'm looking also for simple physical formulas
for gain calculation .

Is it RMS Gain (%) = sqrt ( sum 1..n ( sample[i]^2 ) ) / MAX_SINE_RMS
or Gain (%) = sum 1..n abs( sample[i] ) / MAX_SINE_AREA
or something else

sorre im newbie in sound/DSP programing
