Alternatively to what I wrote a little earlier, a search on freshmeat for
"mp3 find duplicate" gave these two tools:
mp3dup: http://mp3dup.xmms.org/
fdmf: http://www.w140.com/audio/
Never tried these, but maybe that helps you..
