its another shitty little dream-grabbing sales device. very powerful,
but not as powerful as tools costing a lot less (but requiring actual
knowledge and skill to use). sales of the new oasys (as opposed to the
old oasys) will be 99% based on the "wow, think of the music i can
make so easily with that". the (my?) truth is that none of the rather
cool technology in the system is central to making music unless you
are a score composer who has to crank out stuff day and night.

i believe there is no relationship whatsoever. i also believe that, as
on the Lionstracs system, most of the heavy DSP lifting right now is
not done "by linux" by DSPs under the control of an application
running under linux.
