[linux-audio-dev] hdspconf.o build error, alsa 1.0.9 rc3

FYI -- Every now and then I try again to get my Multiface working in my
64-bit Fedora 3 environment. Latest attempt gives me this familiar old
error while building alsa-tools-1.0.9rc3:
