Integrating with proprietary software is great; let's have full VST
support. I'm for it. Let's have free software that works with
everything. Unless it involves relicensing free software in less free
terms in order to aid the proprietary software. That would
be.. well.. nuts.
It's also worth bearing in mind that the only people to expend energy
on integrating free software with proprietary software will be those
who have a vested interest in that integration.
