[LAD] OT.C Library for mounting, processing data

Hi,

Can anyone point me to a library that lets me mount a disk, copy data to
the disk and unmount the disk?

I'm using c and gtk.

If possible I would like to avoid gnome dependencies but am open to it
if it makes life easy for programming.

Also would it be easier to do this with Python?
