I've been running a tickless 2.6.26 (NOT 2.6.26.3, and not RT) and USB
sticks have been fine for me.

My ffado installation seems to be operating fine under tickless 2.6.26
(again though, 2.6.26.3 and/or RT patches not yet tested).
