One with only an ExpressCard 34 slot, otherwise the card might fall
out :) There are small plastic clips available that can hold an
ExpressCard 34 in an ExpressCard 54 slot properly.

What I'd recommend? Well, any notebook would do. I ordered one of the
new Thinkpad X200.

Core 2 Duo 2.4Ghz should do the trick, shouldn't it? If you can wait two
weeks, I can run benchmarks. Or any other guy on the ML.
