Currently an app cannot do it at software level. The level 1 support
just needs to be documented. In future, what levels are supported will
be indicated by fields in the .desktop files. Until then users are
supposed to know whether given app supports given level and indicate it
when they start the app. This is done by a radio button selection in the
gladish app start dialog. The dialog can be seen in the ladish-0.2
demonstration video at 0:52:
