Lots of jokers do this. And sometimes they even go backwards.

In another area, Nortel made (makes?) a pbx that had windows in the guts but
could be administered in a browser from windows, mac, or linux. With
basically the same hardware, they made new pbx software based on linux and
got rid of the windows inside of the box but while doing that, got rid of the
browser (java?) admin and now you need a windows client to admin the linux
pbx.

Was: pbx running windows admin from windows,mac, linux.
Now: pbx running linux admin from windows only.

Pray tell what is the sense in that?

Would a hall of shame page for such plays help any?
