jack is and will for the lifetime of jack1 be jack1 in Arch's [extra]
repository. When jack2 will be included depends on an upstream
milestone and someone eventually requesting that inclusion - it
doesn't affect the existence of a jack1 package :)

You may have chanced upon something talking about the ArchAudio
project, the repositories of which do provide builds of jack2. It's
not an official project. In any case, the jack2 packages just conflict
with jack, there aren't any (virtual) problems.
