$ g++ --version
g++ (GCC) 4.2.4 (Ubuntu 4.2.4-1ubuntu4)

I wondered about the "0x" too, ok, I'm running 64 Studio 3.0-beta3 =
Ubuntu Hardy, it's outdated ;).

I wished coders for audio could take care of this issue, as often as
possible, because audio distributions often do lag behind current
software versions.

No big deal at the moment :).
