Like I said before, I prefer the circle movement, and I like to let the
knob jump to the point were I click. Therefore we used a smooth factor
to avoid clicks in the sound. But we make it also possible to move the
mouse up and down, when used together with ctrl, and when you leave the
ctrl while the mouse is pressed, you come in the fine tune mode. A
middle click pops up a Midi learn widget to connect the GUI controller
with a Midi controller.
Also we show the value permanent, and with a right click on the value, a
spinbox pops up, where you can enter your value with the keyboard
direct.
Anyway, mostly I use the mouse-wheel to change the values, that's what
gives me the best feeling for a Knob.
