You could avoid having to do this whatsoever by just translating the
lrdf data to LV2-style Turtle, if you want to consider LADSPA deprecated
(i.e. you don't expect a bunch of new plugins with lrdf data to keep
arriving). Then you don't have to deal with XML at all, yay.
