From the docs I see that using GModule only adds Windows support, unless you
also care about HP-UX. So, a small abstraction layer around dlopen() and
LoadLibrary() should suffice, no?

No rush here as well. I can work on a patch, but on the other side I don't want
to interfere if you're in the middle of your work.
