I'm using Jack1 in almost all cases, and I've worked around the
problem when it has hit me. Last time I reported it things didn't
look as if it would be fixed soon.

That was probably because part of this *is* indeed a useful
feature: you can postpone calling jack_port_get_buffer() on
some inputs and get a non-delayed copy of some of your outputs.
Ardour2 uses this for its busses (including master).

The only real bug is that this doesn't work correctly with
the optimisation for a single output connected to an input.
