thanks for the pointers. Yes I know about AlgoScore and Iannix, but
that's not quite what I had in mind.

Interesting, I don't remember seeing this. Unfortunately, the original
website is down and the video on vimeo has lousy sound, but I'll have to
see whether I can get this up and running.

Alas. Maybe I'm a bit old-fashioned, but for recording and playing back
stuff on a timeline, nothing beats a DAW-like interface for me. :)
