Thanks Jörn, glad you like the first look :)

It's worth noting that most of the saturation functions are idealised
approximations, but judging from informal listening tests conducted
during development there is no appreciable difference from waveshaping
using voltage mapping data gathered from tube or diode simulations.
And once you give them enough gain, they all begin to sound more or
less the same anyway, because the output invariably approaches a
square wave.

If you're looking to build a classic fuzz pedal, you need two
saturators in series and some sort of filter or eq before, inbetween
and optionally after. The tuning of the filters is the part that
makes a good sound, much more important than the choice of diode, tube
or saturating function.

If, however, you're looking for digital 0 dB protection, you're best
off with mode 3, "clip". It's strictly linear up to amplitude ceiling
of -0.9 dB.
