Hi Spencer, hi *,

of cause such things can be discussed on this list, who am I to judge. But this particular discussion is WAY beyond that. The problems here seem to be very complex and any further line written will be (maybe even deliberately) misinterpreted.

This discussion here is derailed in a way you cannot fix with written words.
Peace can only be made with spoken words, when one looks each other in the eye. That is the reason why we have the expression round table.
And do you know what advantage we have over previous generations? we can do that even virtually!!!

And after that, when people have spoken their minds, there will most likely be a solution from which any one will profit. But to achieve that - sorry for quoting Dr. Who here :
"Everybody should do what they should have done in the first place - SIT DOWN AND TALK!"

If finding consent however, is not the intention of this discussion, then please shut up.
Or you could spawn a new mailinglist:
linux-audio-bashing@email-addr-hidden.org
Well I would leave bash out of it... I am getting sarcastic... not good...

These are basic democratic principles. Sorry for being so dramatic, one of my traits, but it seems to me that the past decade made us forget some of our basic social agreements. If such treatment is pleasent for you all and I am a naive hippie (no offense ment!), then so be it and nevermind my objections.

*hopes for a peaceful solution for everyone*

Best

Hi Christoph:

I'm afraid I don't understand your message. Do you mean that you would like to see this thread stop or the behavior of one or more of these individuals stop?

IMHO there has been bad behavior by nearly all involved and I think there are some problems in the organization that I'd like worked out one way or another. If you'd prefer us settle it over some other channel that's fine. I can make effort to do so. There is some reasonable argument that this effects all of us on this list though, so I thought it sensible to discuss here.

Sorry people, what is going on here!?!
This is trumpism BS.

What about a Telco to clear things up!?

Everyone involved at the same table. Face to face. This is how democracy
works. Such problems are solves on a round table. Eye to eye. Not with
letters.

Please stop this.

I mean, I've also better things to do, but I think I've to speak up when I see a community transfer into a place where people who don't have the same opinion as some close core members, are more and more censored and where people misuse their neutral community roles for their own 'agenda'.
