Help! I'm supposed to be performing in about four hours, and my laptop
has mysteriously started refusing to generate sound. The apps claim to
be working, but no sound is coming out (though, looking at meters in
various apps, I can tell that sound is coming in OK, so it isn;t that
my audio interface has died entirely). The only thing that I've done
since it was working was to shutdown, move it across the room, and
boot up again.

Dell Latitude CPi laptop, RedHat 7.2, USB Roland UA-30 audio interface.

Clues? Anything I should look for?
