Could I please have advice on where to get software to
install on my home linux PC so I can use it with my
Yamaha Clavinova (midi-electronic-piano) ?

My machine is
Red Hat Linux release 7.1 (Seawolf)
Kernel 2.4.2-2 on an i686

I have a midisport 2x2 USB/MIDI adapter and MIDI cables, and
I have hooked up these cables to the Yamaha Clavinova.

But I have no software, and no clue what to do next.

I would like to:
1) receive midi data from my piano and store it on my linux PC
2) send midi file data out to my midi piano.
3) (hopefully) convert midi files into sheet music somehow

I plan to attend a 'linux install-a-thon' event in
a week or two, and I'd like to have some idea of what
I need to install.

I'd appreciate any advice!
thanks,
