Unfortunately that didn't work for kernel 2.4.18-0.8a. I wonder why booting
up with kernel 2.2.4 the sound works? I've discovered a kernel Backport for
sound input using DMA at http://www.drfruitcake.com/linux/dma-bp.html Maybe
that will do the trick?
