yep.

btw, there is a (slightly old) ll-kernel for suse available at
        ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/people/tiwai/kernels/k_lowlat.*

it's almost 8.0-kernel with ll patches.

you need to turn on kernel.lowlatency sysctl

        # sysctl -w kernel.lowlatency=1

as default, it's disabled.
