Pete,

I just compiled xsox, but don't know if the simple GUI would be any help.
I have been working on a vicious R&B solo that I slowed down 75% then 50%
in AlsaPlayer, burned on a CD and virtually wore out my Sony playing over
and over. Worth the effort, however.

There are both rate shifter and pitch scaler LADSPA plugins available that
might support exactly what you'd like to do.
