Hi Shannon -

I think you need the development RPM's as well. On my
mandrake box, I need
"libalsa2-devel-0.9.0-0.8rc2mdk.i586.rpm" in order to
build anything which requires ALSA.

Try searching rpmfind or just google for alsa-devel or
libalsa-devel (or check the sources CD for Redhat if
you burned it).
