Well, somehow they would. If my game would come with source and all, I
would have to include the loop files, or at least it would be nice not to
force users to another download. So I would actually be distributing the
unaltered soundfiles.
What about a tracker module? The samples are so easy to rip, because
basically a track module is a sample archive with note information. One
could argue that,... (and so on and on...)
Ah, well, it's a can of worms. No doubt, there is use for a free as in beer
sample library, but I would really prefer a free as in speech one.
And prohibiting selling makes it the former, IMHO.
